I greatly appreciate Dr. Maish listening to my journey and his willingness to see me and my problems as a individual and not compare me to others or say this is how it should be.

I have had five total knee replacements done since March 2017 and I will be having a sixth one sometime this year. I had my first knee replacement on March 23, 2017.

After about three months with my first knee I started to have a lot of pain with it and it started to hyper-extend. I was told by people in the medical profession that it takes time for the pain to go away and it could be as long as year or two.

Because of the problems I was having and the surgeon would not listen to my concerns I changed surgeons.

When I went to the second surgeon he confirmed the problems that I was having and addressed them. I was still having pain with the first knee and had the second knee replacement on November 2nd, 2017.

Again after about 3 to 5 months I started to have a lot of pain with the second knee, once again I was told it takes time.

When X-rays were taken in 2018 they found that both knees had become loose and needed to be replaced. I had several tests done to try and determine why they became loose but nothing was found. So I had my third replacement done on 8-8-18 and the fourth one done on 11-14-18 and both of them became loose again.

It was about three to five months after the replacements that I started to have terrible pain and once again I was told it takes time.

I was referred to Dr. David Maish and have had my fifth knee replacement done on 5-28-19. I greatly appreciate Dr. Maish listening to my journey and his willingness to see me and my problems as a individual and not compare me to others or say this is how it should be.

I will be having my sixth knee replacement in the near future. I believe these knee replacements will be successful because Dr. Maish took the time to listen and realize there were serious problems.
